Baby’s New Beginnings

Pregnant or parenting a child under 6 months? We’re here to help…

Baby’s New Beginnings is a Pregnancy Outreach Program, which provides health and social services support to at-risk pregnant and post-natal women (up to 6 months after child birth) in Prince George. We specialize in providing a safe, welcoming atmosphere, where every woman, child and partner is openly accepted in a nonjudgmental holistic manner.

The BNB program can offer:

  • A non-judgmental, harm-reduction approach.
  • Prenatal education, information on breastfeeding, and nutrition.
  • Prenatal vitamins, infant vitamin D, and omega 3 vitamins.
  • Grocery vouchers.
  • Healthy snacks.
  • Parenting support.
  • Peer support groups.
  • Free clothing and baby items (as available).
  • Referrals to parenting support, and other community organizations.
  • Emotional support.
  • Transportation support (limited).
  • Internal referrals to other Elizabeth Fry Society programs.

All our services are free and confidential.
This program is located at the South Fort George Family Resource Center at 1200 La Salle Ave in Prince George.
Feel free to drop in Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 8:30am-3:30pm, or call ahead to make an appointment.
