Court Work Services
The courts can be intimidating and confusing…
The Court Work Services program operates inside the Prince George Courthouse and offers support to the anyone who may want help navigating the justice system. While they can NOT provide legal advice, the Court Work Services program CAN provide:
- Assistance for individuals seeking information to understand charges and court procedures.
- A client-centered, and trauma-informed approach.
- Information on how to contact a lawyer and get support.
- Connection to Duty Counsel (if appropriate).
- Emotional support.
- Referrals to other organizations and programs.
Our services are free and confidential.
The Court Work Services program runs Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30am – 12:30pm at the Prince George Courthouse.

The Court Worker Services program works in conjunction with the Legal Services Society, and is funded entirely by the Prince George & District Elizabeth Fry Society.
