Clothesline Worker

(Part time)

Nature of the Position

The Prince George & District Elizabeth Fry Society is accepting applications for a part time Clothesline Worker to work within the team at the South Fort George Family Resource Centre.  This position will receive, sort, and display donations from the community for individuals and families who visit the South Fort George Family Resource Centre.

The Clothesline is an integral part of the free programming offered at the South Fort George Family Resource Centre.  The successful candidate will need to demonstrate skills to work independently, have strong organizational skills, and be part of a team. 

Required Education, Training and Experience

Grade 12 with six months related experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  •  Performs duties such as sorting, and hanging of clothes and small household items
  • Maintains clean clothesline area with vacuuming, sweeping, and spot mopping
  • Collects and disposes of refuse from collected clothes
  • Secures the clothesline space by locking doors and keeping area secure
  • Reports any maintenance requirements to supervisor
  • Performs other related duties as required

Salary Range

$15.77 – $18.37

Current Shift Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
